Volunteer to deliver The Knowledge

The Knowledge is Knowle West’s Community Newsletter. It is the only free newsletter delivered locally. It connects local people and keeps them informed of what’s going on locally. It is delivered by a team of volunteers. Published 3 times a year, there is no commitment, help out when you can. Publication dates are: April, (early) July and November. We contact volunteers a couple of weeks before to check availability.

Streets range from 8 to 180 houses. There is an amount to suit everyone. All deliveries take place across Knowle West. One road of 50 homes takes approximately 20-30 mins. Fit delivery around you and your commitments, there is a 14-day delivery period. We aim to match volunteers with a patch that suits them.

There is a minimum age. 16 & 17 yr olds must deliver in pairs and both be 16 or over. 18+ for individuals.

We can pair you with another volunteer, if that suits you. Deliver together.

All volunteers sign up to basic information and safety documentation.

Boxed copies are collected from Knowle West Media Centre on Leinster Avenue.

If you don’t have a car, we will do our best to assign you streets close you your home and drop copies to you.
