The planning application for changes to the Filwood Playing Fields is open for comments until 7th May.
How do I find out what is involved?
All the information is on Bristol City Council’s Planning Portal.

There is a lot of information on the website page – so if you want to get the best overview of what is proposed – click on the Documents tab on the website page.
Then scroll down the page to the Design and Access statement.
It is in two parts.
Part 1: Open a part of it by clicking on the column to the far right of the row. This gives you a summary of what is proposed – plus pictures and plans of the proposals.
Part 2: Other documents and plans on the same page – provide the more detail about noise, lighting, ecology, access arrangements, transport etc.
How do I comment?
You can submit a comment to Bristol City Council supporting, or objecting to, or raising points about the proposals either:
On line – via the link – but click on the “make a comment” button near the top right of the webpage. And then follow the instructions.
You can write in quoting – the reference 26/11425/F – the name Filwood Playing Fields/Filwood Park – your name and address and the date you wrote in; by using one of the following:

by letter to Development Management, City Hall, Bristol City Council, PO Box 3399, Bristol, BS1 9NE
Or contact your local councillor and send a comment through them
