Saturday 15th June saw another action packed Knowle West Fest on Filwood Broadway and at Filwood Community Centre with just over 1000 people coming along throughout the day.

The rain clouds cleared just in time for the event to open with fab gymnastics performance by two local young people. The outdoor stage hosted by Base Radio, saw a series of live acts including the Gospel Generation Community Choir, Kid Carpet, Bristol Reggae Orchestra, and local up and coming talent DJ Arlo.

There were plenty of theatrical entertainment with Brave Bold Drama and Tit for Tat Circus both on top form! For those wanting to make and get creative, a host of local artists offered free workshops including flag making and circus skills.  

For those wanting to look rather than make, the arts exhibition (part of BS4 Arts Trail) offered a chance to see work by local artists. Organisers Filwood Community Centre and Knowle West Media Centre thank everyone who came down for making it such a brilliant day!
