Concerned about local construction?

There is a lot of construction and development happening locally. It can be disruptive and difficult to live with. Most constructors, developers and builders aim to limit disruption and work with the local community, but what if you have a concern or problem with construction close to your home or work? The Considerate Constructors Scheme may be able to help.

What is the Considerate Constructors Scheme?

The Considerate Constructors Scheme is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that works with the construction industry and the public to raise standards and build trust in construction.

For over 30 years the Considerate Constructors Scheme has promoted and supported improvement in the way construction activity impacts the community, the environment and its workforce, by promoting high standards and accountability within the construction industry.

Contractors and organisations who register with the scheme are actively trying to be more considerate to communities.

How does the scheme help?

The scheme recognises the impact that construction activity can have on local communities and on those living, working, or travelling in areas where construction is taking place and that people may have concerns or issues.

Considerate Constructors Public Support Team

The Public Support team will help with any concerns or feedback you may have about a construction project.

Anyone can raise a concern. A team will aim to address the concern or problem and resolve the issue. Contact and information you share is confidential. Unless you would like your details passed on, in order that the construction site can contact you directly. Most sites have a named Project Manager or contact person.
