Bristol Community Festival 2026 event grants

Applications are now open for Bristol Community Festival 2026 event grants. Events will take place from 6–12 June, with a final celebration at City Hall on 13 June.

Funding and accessibility support:
 18 one-off grants of £500 for community-led events that recognise, celebrate and connect citizens 
 An additional £150 for accessibility support, such as BSL interpretation, accessible venues or sensory spaces 

This year’s festival will focus on connection, social action and community cohesion, celebrating the people, places and activities that help strengthen relationships across the city. 

Funding priority will be given to resident-led groups, grassroots and equalities groups, and groups based in the top 30% most deprived areas of Bristol.

If you don’t require funding, or if your group isn’t eligible, you can still be part of the festival. Self-funded events can be added to the festival programme and promoted through our channels – register your event on the festival information pages.
