About the Event: Create a blue-printed dream
Free refreshments, all ages welcome.
Blueprinting, also known as cyanotype and sunprinting, is a process where objects are placed onto light-sensitive paper and then exposed to UV light to create a print. Blueprinting your dreams onto plywood to form part of a window display at Filwood Community Centre (the temporary site), and one to take home.
If you’d like to, take a photo that represents your dream to use for your print. You can use your smart phone.
Your dream can be anything from what you wanted to be as a child, your dreams for the future for yourself or Knowle West, or even a potted plant you dream of owning for your windowsill!
Send us your photos before the workshop if you can, so we can turn them into negatives by printing them onto acetate (think old school projector!). Email them to su***@***************rg.uk, or WhatsApp them to 07518 739 186
