DESCRIPTION:a new men’s health programme we’re running locally at Filwood Community Centre\, starting this October 27th.\nThis programme has been built with local men\, for local men through a series of co-design sessions. It’s not a lecture or a fitness class — it’s a mix of group sessions and practical workshops designed to make health feel realistic\, non-judgemental and actually useful for day-to-day life.\nThe focus is on three key areas:\n• Mental wellbeing – stress\, confidence\, coping tools\n• Food – simple\, affordable nutrition and cooking skills\n• Movement – practical ways to move that feel good and doable\nWe’re currently testing the programme\, so this is a great chance for men to come along for a free lunch\, take part\, and share honest feedback to help shape the final version.\nEach session runs 12–4pm (with lunch 12–12:30\, session 12:30–3\, and time after for chat and feedback).\nProgramme dates:\nWeek 0 – 27th October\nWeek 1 – 3rd November\nWeek 2 – 10th November\nWeek 3 – 17th November\nCooking Practical – week of 24th november exact time to be confirmed.\nWeek 4 – 1st December\nWeek 5 – 8th December\nWrap-up Session – 15th December\nAll sessions are free of charge\, and lunch is included each week — we just ask that participants let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements in advance.\nWe’ve got space for 20 men to take part.
