What about our play spaces in Knowle West?

Residents urged to fill out a survey about play and recreation spaces/facilities in the area

In response to the potential loss of some local play areas to development – residents are being asked to have their say about these spaces in the local area

Knowle West Alliance has invited a group of nurseries, schools and youth groups to come together to look at the issue.

This group would like to find out what children and young people – and their families – in Knowle West think about the play spaces that are available now – and what they might collectively work towards in the future.

Alliance Co-ordinator Lucy Holburn says: “By filling in this questionnaire you are helping provide important information that will be used to respond to development proposals as they arise…”

Play spaces which are planned for development include the old Swimming Pool Site off Filwood Broadway currently used as a basketball court – with plans from LiveWest for 33 homes.

This questionnaire should take about five to ten minutes and is entirely voluntary. All responses are anonymous. It should be completed as soon as possible – and no later than 6 August.
