Wanted: Volunteers to support young people at Step and Stone
A local social enterprise which runs an artisan bakery working with young adults with learning disabilities is looking for volunteers to help.
Based at The Park in Daventry Road, Step and Stone makes award-winning lavosh flatbread – and works to close the employment gap among people with learning disabilities.
Open Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 3pm – they are looking for friendly volunteers who would like to make a difference in supporting young people.
They offer:
- Level 1 Food Safety & Safeguarding Training
- Flexible working (minimum 2 hours)
- Traveling expenses & free parking
Experience is useful but a belief in inclusion and a positive attitude is all you need (plus DBS check).
