Some 100 volunteers from a local charity will be working on community projects across Knowle West on Thursday 5 April – and are looking for ideas
Bristol Noise has been invited back to the area by local churches following the success of the project last year. Working with Hope Bristol 2018, volunteers will be out in force but need some projects to get stuck into.
From putting up garden fences to clearing patches of land – the charity will be helping to improve the local surroundings.
Ed Palairet, Pioneer Leader of Lee Abbey Knowle West and Chair of Churches Together said: “If we don’t recommend enough ideas for projects, then we won’t get the allocated number of volunteers and they will do projects elsewhere where there is work to do.
“So do take a few minutes to think of a patch of land that could do with some TLC, think of a family who could do with help in the garden or painting a room, or other ideas that would benefit the community – senior citizen banquet, removing fly tipping etc…”
All ideas will be looked at by a local resident co-ordinator and can be submitted by using this form: http://www.thenoise.org.uk/communityprojects
