Knowle West residents will have a chance to have their say on the long-awaited plans for the development of Filwood Park on Monday 9 January.
Commercial property agency GVA will be holding a public event at Filwood Community Centre for local people to view plans to be submitted to Bristol City Council for the park in Hengrove Way,
The exhibition will include current design and layout of the proposed housing, park and play area as well as car parking and landscaping.
Outline Planning Permission was granted on 31 October 2012 for: “mixed use development, including the creation of a new park, erection of up to 150 no. residential units, 8000sqm of employment floorspace… car parking, landscaping, ecological area, access and associated infrastructure works…”
This application will complete the Filwood Park proposal following the completion of the Filwood Green Business Park.
The event will be held at Filwood Community Centre on Monday 9 January 2017 from 4-7pm.
