Free youth festival in Knowle West
The Prince’s Trust has teamed up with The Park to host a free festival in Knowle West this July – showcasing the opportunities available to young people across Bristol.
Positivity in The Park will include live music, free food, and sports, as well as arts activities, CV workshops. and cookery. Another highlight will be a 7m high climbing wall.
Young people will have the chance to find out about the range of employment, education and volunteering opportunities they can access in and around the city.
The festival is open to everyone but aimed at 16-30 year olds based in Bristol and surrounding areas.
Outreach executive for The Prince’s Trust, Sarah Pritchard says: ” We have invited organisations from across Bristol, but with a particular focus on local provision, to come and promote what they can offer the community in an engaging way.
“The aim is to really get the local people, particularly disengaged young people, to come along and be inspired by all the great stuff on offer.”
The event will take place on 7 July at The Park in Daventry Road from 3.30-6.30pm.
