Events for those who would be alone on Christmas Day

Marmalade Trust is hoping to have 40 mini events in pubs and restaurants around Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire for people who would otherwise be alone on Christmas Day.
Christmas Cheer 2021 will provide a meal and a hamper of goodies for guests who attend (six per event). You can refer yourself if you meet the eligibility criteria.
If you’re a friend, neighbour or a professional working with someone who would like to join us, you can refer them but make sure you’ve discussed it with them first.
Marmalade Trust can only accept referrals for those who meet all five of the eligibility criteria below:
- Aged over 50*
- Living in Bristol, North Somerset or South Gloucestershire
- Living alone and in own home
- Feeling lonely
- Double-vaccinated against COVID-19**

**Marmalade Trust is asking all its members and volunteers to be doubled vaccinated against COVID-19 to reduce risks and spread of the disease.
