Free fostering information event (online)

March 1 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

If your employment or circumstances have changed due to the pandemic, now could be the time to start a new career and help make a real difference to your community.

Now more than ever, we need more foster carers from all walks of life to foster children and young people across the city.

Your age, gender, relationship status, and whether you own a home is not important – it’s what you can offer a young person that counts.

There is a particular need for long term homes for teenagers, black and minority ethnic children, and siblings so that brothers and sisters can stay together. Foster carers receive fees and allowances. You must be able to give children and young people a safe, caring and supportive home.

To find out more about the different types of fostering, come along to our virtual coffee morning on Monday (1 March) between 10.00am and 11.30am via Zoom.

To register, email: fostering@bristol.gov.uk, or find out more on the Fostering Events page on the Bristol City Council website.
