Do you have a fear of spiders? Well, you’ve come to the right place!
Here at The Park Centre, we understand the impact that a spider phobia can have on your life and are offering a course to help you overcome your fear.
This Bristol spiderphobia course is delivered by zoologist Dave Naish and hypnotherapist Greg Nejedly, who together have over 20 years’ experience helping people manage their fear of spiders.
The course lasts for about 3.5 hours with a mix of elements that will give you both a different perspective on spider phobia and some strategies to help you deal with the difficult moments.
Interactive talk and discussion of phobias, why they arise and how they affect you
Talk about spiders with a focus on their anatomy, behaviour and importance in nature, and all your questions answered
Refreshments – food and drinks
Discussion about and background to hypnosis
Meeting with live, friendly spiders
Does our spider phobia course work?
Feedback from participants after our courses shows that there is a positive change in the way that participants react and feel when they encounter a spider. 80% of participants report feeling much calmer, confident and in control during a spider encounter.

The course takes place at The Park Centre. There are two dates to choose from:
Thursday 18 November 6pm – 9.30pm
Thursday 2 December 6pm – 9.30pm
£95 per person
A number of places are available at a 40% concession rate for senior citizens and those on a low income or unemployed.
The course is open to anyone over 16.
