Toynbee Road and Samuel Barnett Close won the Curo Community of the Year 2024. To celebrate Curo supported us to set up a Winter Warmer Event for all Curo Residents on the Road. We planned it for a cold (certainly was cold!) Saturday in January, to bring a bit of cheer after the holidays. Ferenc from Juli’s Catering kindly made the Pizzas, as always they were delicious! Tesco Brislington kindly donated the Vegan and Gluten Free Pizza. Rob and Lisa our Filwood Councillors came along, to meet people and answer questions, as did Hannah from Knowle West Alliance. We were ably supported on the day and over the years, by Curo Community Engagement, with Hannah and Neil coming along. We did have a few Pizza’s left, which we donated to a St Mungo’s Safe House for Women https://www.mungos.org Thanks to all who helped make this happen and all those who attended!
