Filwood Broadway, a bold plan to re-energise the area. Bristol City Council working along side businesses on the Broadway, community organisations and the local community have created a High Street Action Plan.

New priorities and goals to benefit the community

Part of plans to transform Filwood Broadway, which include refurbishment and expansion of Filwood Community Centre, new council homes on the former cinema site and on 4-16 Filwood Broadway. High Street Improvements

A locally based team led by Architecture 00, alongside architect George Lovesmith have been working with local businesses and stakeholders to develop of the high street improvements. This has included new signage and improvements to shop fronts for existing businesses. The offer of business start-up support, events and pilot projects.

Long-term community led high street strategy and action plan – Filwood Broadway High Street Action Plan

The Filwood Broadway High Street Action Plan outlines a shared vision for a thriving community-led high street at Filwood Broadway.

Developed by Bristol City council, Architecture 00, George Lovesmith and Studio Mothership alongside the Filwood Broadway Action Team of local residents, community groups and businesses, the plan sets out the short, medium and long-term goals for the high street and the actions needed to achieve them.
