Eating well and thriving in Knowle West: Food Network update

Over the summer many of us had community conversations to find out what people think –

“What does it mean to eat well and thrive in Knowle West?”

on 9th October the Knowle West Food Network came together to consider this.

Residents, groups and organisations talked and dreamed about what is possible.  We noted that when people can get their food locally, we build connections, that there is real value in that; there is potential for more “togetherness” of sharing skills, knowledge and pulling together.  We didn’t just talk, we also mapped potential actions – small things, big things.  There’s already a lot of food action happening, building a way of doing things, bringing people together through food, meals and celebration, so we can all eat well and thrive.  To find out more about the Food Network check out: https://knowlewestalliance.co.uk/2023/01/12/kw-food-network/ and to join the KW food mailing list (for invites and updates) email in**@kw********.uk and ask to be added.
