Christmas cheer in Knowle West
Knowle West is known for its creative and lavish Christmas light displays as well as its community celebrations.
We’re highlighting a few events that have happened this week to help get everyone in the Christmas spirit.

On Thursday evening (16 December) a walk took place around the area to view some of the imaginative light displays on the neighbourhood’s houses and in front gardens – led by local artist Claudia Collins
It was part of Knowle West Media Centre’s Project Night – a bi-monthly session for artists, creatives and community – which took to the streets instead of having its usual networking session.
The event, with free refreshments beforehand, was funded by Filwood Fantastic, Creative Civic Change and re:work.
And there was plenty to spark the imagination….

The event on Wednesday evening was funded by Filwood Fantastic and Creative Civic Change.

Lantern parade and carols at the Health Park
Earlier that evening – women’s support group Fit and Fab held a lantern parade and carol singing at Knowle West Health Park.
