Carers Support Centre (CSC) for Bristol and South Gloucestershire is bringing their popular Walk and Talks to Knowle

Walk and Talks are easy walks around local green areas where unpaid carers get a chance to enjoy a break from their caring responsibilities by being outdoors in the company of other carers.

One of the charity’s friendly support workers leads the walk, offering a listening ear and providing information to support walkers in their caring role. The overall aim of Walk and Talk is to improve the health and wellbeing of carers.

The walks take place once a week over six weeks and they are free to take part in. All carers are welcome, and Carer Support Centre looks to make the walks as inclusive as possible. Whatever your background, whatever your walking ability, Carer Support Centre wants you to join them and your fellow carers on a Walk and Talk.

The first Walk and Talk session in Knowle starts at Redcatch Community Garden on Wednesday 6 September at 11.00 am.
