Meet the Green Business Park’s new Enterprise Support Officer

Filwood Green Business Park has recently welcomed Sarah Classick as its new Enterprise Support Officer – following the departure of Business Manager Iwona Tempowski in June.

Opened in 2015, the award – winning business park provides workshop and office space to small to medium businesses with an environmental ethos.

Sarah runs the front of house operations and is the first point of contact with tenants if they have any issues with the building.

She says: “I’ve really enjoyed working here so far, it’s been great working with tenants like Knowle West Media Centre (The Factory), they’ve been great to work with and I’m really looking forward to the future.”

With already 65% occupancy, Sarah works closely with all the tenants – from viewing potential occupants, to setting up their furniture and internet when they’ve moved in.

Sarah plans to further the marketing of the park so it becomes a well-known environmental hub of Filwood and Knowle West.

She says: “We still get people who are in the area but they drive past it every day and never actually realise its there. So I’d really like this place to be a point where people everywhere know where it is, and they know what facilities we have.”

The Business Park is home to a wide range of tenants from various different industries.

Sarah says: “I aim to increase the networking of the centre, so that tenants know each other and will go to one another if they have business needs. I want to create a really good community of environmentally friendly businesses.”
