How can residents take part

The Council would like your input again. They are inviting residents to consultation events in October 2010. They want local peoples’ views on the proposals for the Regeneration Plans for the future of Knowle West

Drop in from 12 noon to 8pm at the following venues in Knowle West, where the proposals and plans will be explained to you by the some of team who work on the project:

-      Wed 13th October 2010, Mede Centre, 1 Marshall Walk, Inns Court

-      Thurs 14th October 2010, Filwood Broadway Social Centre, Barnstaple Road, Filwood

-      Fri 15th October 2010, Eagle House Association, Newquay Road, Knowle

-      Sat 16th October 2010, Knowle West Media Centre, Leinster Avenue, Knowle West

-      Mon 18th October 2010, The Park Local Opportunity Centre, Daventry Rd, Knowle

The plans can also be seen at The Park Local Opportunity Centre, Daventry Road from Tuesday 19th October to Friday 29th October 2010, 8am to 10pm weekdays, and 9am to 4pm weekends.  While this exhibition will be not be staffed, residents will be able to view and provide feedback on the plans.

Residents will also be able to comment on the plans online by visiting the Bristol City Council web pages from Wed 13th October until this phase on consultation ends – now extended until Friday 12th November 2010.

Once the Council has local peoples’ comments they will be working on producing a final plan over the coming months.  Visit this site for updates.
