ELM brings together volunteers, residents and local organisations in Knowle West to grow food.
Each week ELM produces a salad bag for £2.50 all the contents comes straight from Knowle West, picked fresh on morning of delivery. To order, call or text Andy on 07426 808823. Check out the pictures of past weeks salad bags…
In Knowle West we have big gardens – and not all are being used, so ELM volunteers have been given access to grow fruit and veg that is sold through the weekly salad bag. The volunteers have had limited opportunities and are looking for new skills. They are being supported by re:work and Buried Treasure.
Knowle West Media Centre supports the volunteers with computer and digital multi media skills to plot their progress. The volunteers leave with 2 new sets of skills helping them back into the workplace. See their journey here….

In Knowle West we always like to put our own spin on things… ELM is our version of a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model. CSA’s are partnerships between people growing veg and the local community, providing mutual benefits and reconnecting people to where their food is grown. www.makinglocalfoodwork.co.uk
