Plans for 12 flats in Tavistock Road on the site of the old boxing gym will be on display at an open morning at The Park Centre on 7 August.
The Park, which owns the land will be investing money from the sale of the flats to help fund its £6.5 million redevelopment to create a purpose-built community centre: http://www.knowlewest.co.uk/amended-plans-for-the-park-on-show/
The organisation has already sold part of its site to the Department of Education for £4.5 million to build a new 900-place secondary school for the area.
A planning application for the Tavistock Road homes is due to be submitted to Bristol City Council in early September.
Residents will be able to talk to someone face to face and look at the plans on 7 August from 10am-midday at The Park in Daventry Road. Any revisions made as a result of people’s comments will be available to see on 21 August at the centre.
