Mayor’s First Cabinet Meeting

George Ferguson the new, first elected Mayor of Bristol will be holding his first Cabinet meeting Thursday 20th December 6pm at The Park, Daventry Rd, Bristol, BS4 1DQ

The Park Centre has been chosen to hold the new Mayor’s first Cabinet meeting since being elected in November.

Bristol’s first elected Mayor, George Ferguson said “I am honoured, as a South Bristol resident to be elected as your first ever City Mayor. I want to make sure that I do all I can to protect you from the worst budget cuts and help protect essential services and improve lives in extremely difficult times. To do so I shall work closely with your Neighbourhood Partnerships, the new Crime Commissioner Sue Mountstevens and of course your local
Councillors. As a signal of my commitment to Bristol’s communities and a new style of local democracy, I am planning to bring my first Mayor’s Cabinet meeting to The Park in Knowle West on Thursday 20th December to ensure we engage with the real issues in the area. Let me know what issues you think we should be addressing and what ideas you have for your community to mayor@bristol.gov.uk

The meeting begins at 6pm and everyone is welcome to attend.
