KNOWLE WEST HEALTH ASSOCIATION COOKERY PROGRAMME MAY – AUGUST 2011

The Community Kitchen offers a wide range of healthy cookery courses. Work has been done on a one to one basis as well as with community groups. The Kitchen has also worked with schools looking at Healthy Lunch Boxes for children.

COOKING for health and wellbeing

We will give you tips on the best foods to eat to make you feel good and build your strength inside and out.

4 weeks starting 19 May 1pm – 3pm

AFTER SCHOOL CLUB

The return of this favourite fun cooking sessions where you’ll get to make bread, fresh sausages and burgers, muffins, crumbles and much more

Starting 12th May 4.30pm -6pm

£1.50 per session

EAT more, LOSE weight!

This course is about getting the combination of what you eat right. If you want to improve your looks, energy and your mood at the same time, this course will help you do that.

5 Weeks starting 23rd June 10.30pm – 12.30pm

CHILDREN’S HOLIDAY COOKERY CLASSES

27th and 28th July, & 3rd and 4th August

10am – 12 noon and 12:30pm-2:30pm

Men cooking with confidence

For men new to cooking, men who want to have more ideas and choices and those who are just not sure about cooking.

We’ll show you how to make great meals in a short time that everyone will enjoy!

Out and About cooking sessions

If you are a group who would like some cooking activities and you can’t come to us, we can come to you!

So give us a call and we will design a programme for your group’s specific needs.
