Urban Key Fund
Telephone: 0117 3773669
The Urban Key Fund is a pot of funding for young people and managed by young people. The money comes from the Urban II Programme and Neighbourhood Renewal.
The three themes of the Urban Key Fund are:
• Improving skills and job prospects for young people in South West Bristol
• To improve the environment and reduce crime.
• For young people to take an active part in community decision-making.
The Key Fund enables groups of young people to access funding for a range of diverse activities, projects and training that tie-in with the above themes. The application process itself is fairly straightforward and flexible and groups can apply for up to £1,000.
Who can apply?
Groups of young people between the ages of 10 and 30 who live, attend a school, youth club and/or project in the Urban II area, which includes Hartcliffe, Withywood, Knowle West, Whitchurch Park, and parts of Highridge, Bedminster and Headley Park.
If you are interested or would like further information, then call contact the Key Fund Development Worker, Alex Willis, on Thursdays and Fridays.
