Peer Education Project
HAWKS Peer Education project enables young people (10-19 years of age) to broaden their knowledge of substance use / misuse and its effects on individuals, families and communities.
The project provides:
• Education and Training
• Accreditation
• Confidence building
• Sessions to explore: emotional, physical and health Issues
• Creative and innovative activities.
• Information workshops to organisations / professionals that work with young people
The overall aim of the project is to enable young people to gain the skills and confidence to influence and educate other young people on these difficult and complex issues. If you would like more information about the project and what we could offer you, please contact the HAWKS office.
