Enterprise Support Service launches

If you’re a budding entrepreneur, a new business or a maturing company in South Bristol, then the newly-launched Enterprise Support Service could be the perfect tonic for you to kick-start your entrepreneurial career.

Fully funded as part of the Filwood Green Business Park project, the £270,000 scheme offers 1-to-1 business advice, workshops and networking opportunities. It aims to help get new ideas or businesses off the ground whilst also supporting existing ventures that want to grow.

The service is targeted at residents in the Filwood, Knowle, Hartcliffe, Hengrove, Stockwood, Windmill Hill and Whitchurch Park wards, with the hope that new start-up companies are able to take up residency in the upcoming Filwood Green Business Park, which is set to open in February 2015.

In line with the business park’s green aspirations, and its ties with Bristol’s status as European Green Capital 2015, there is also an emphasis on helping companies to improve their environmental performance.
