Knowle West Health Park Company seeks a dynamic, experienced Networker to work with community, equality, and faith groups across South Bristol to improve access to mental health and emotional wellbeing support in Bristol.
You will work with groups to:
• Challenge mental health stigma
• Promote positive mental health and emotional wellbeing
• Provide information on current mental health services in local areas
• Signpost groups to the right support
• Feedback to mental health service providers and commissioners about how services can be improved
You will be enthusiastic, motivated, and creative, with the ability to work on your own initiative. You will have experience of working with local communities; and experience of organising and delivering focus groups, workshops, and events.
The appointed networker will be part of the Community Access Support Service (CASS) which is commissioned by Bristol Clinical Commissioning Group. The worker will be based in Knowle West Health Park Company, but will also be a member of the wider Healthy Living Centre Consortium CASS team. The Healthy Living Centre Consortium is a partnership between Knowle West Health Park Company, Wellspring Healthy Living Centre, and Southmead Development Trust. There are two other networkers based in each of the North and Inner/East localities.
