Knowle West Health Association is a local charity which has worked for over 20 years to protect, preserve and promote good health in Knowle West and surrounding areas.

 We are now seeking to appoint an Allotment Co-ordinator to help us with the development of our new community Let’s Grow project.

The post is initially for 1 year until March 2013 but may be extended, depending on funding. 10 hours/week but similarly may increase, depending on funding £11/hr

You should have sound knowledge and experience of food growing, an awareness of and interest in food, health and sustainability issues, excellent communication skills, and experience of developing and managing a community project

We are now seeking to appoint a Gardener to help us with the development of our new Let’s Grow allotment project by working closely with the local community, groups, schools and other voluntary organisations and to organise all aspects of the production and distribution of fresh fruit and vegetables.

The post is initially for 2 years until March 2014 but may be extended, depending on future funding. 30 hours/week in Year 1 and 20 hours/week in Year 2 – £7.50/hour

You should have sound knowledge and experience of food growing, an awareness of and interest in food, health and sustainability issues, excellent communication skills, and experience of working with volunteers and/or voluntary organisations.
