A Taste of Knowle West was hosted by Knowle West Health Association at Springfield Allotments on Friday – with locally produced food and a range of family activities.

The event to mark the start of the Easter holidays included an egg and spoon race for children and an Easter egg hunt.

It was a collaboration of local organisations including Knowle West Children’s Centre, the Square Food Foundation and Incredible Edible Bristol.

Knowle West Health Association (KWHA) Development Worker Rhianna Lowes said: ” For us it is about the Plot to Plate activities we do, so people are preparing and cooking pizzas with the Let’s Grow project. It’s the first time we’ve hosted A Taste of Knowle West..”

Other activities included making seed bombs, arts and crafts and stalls selling home made food.The last A Taste of Knowle West took place in November at Inns Court Family Centre’s Bonfire Night.
